Overview Senior SAP Analyst - Finance & Project Systems (SAP FICO / PS). Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent. Compensation: Up to $130,000 base + 10% bonus. About the Opportunity We are partnering with a global, Calgary-based organization to hire a Senior SAP Analyst focused on Finance, Controlling, and Project Systems. This role sits within a specialized SAP team supporting a complex, project-driven business with operations across North America, Latin America, the Middle East, Australia, and Southeast Asia. This is a senior, hands-on functional role with mentoring responsibility - ideal for an experienced SAP FICO / PS analyst who enjoys owning solutions, working closely with Finance, and influencing system design and improvements. Responsibilities Provide senior-level functional support for SAP FICO and Project Systems Mentor and guide other SAP analysts across Finance, Controlling, and PS Drive analysis, design, and delivery of SAP enhancements and changes Troubleshoot and resolve complex SAP FICO / PS issues Work directly with Finance and business stakeholders on: Project accounting and cost controls Custom engineering accounting COPA and results analysis reporting Optimize SAP FICO and PS functionality and processes Support integrations with other SAP modules (MM, SD, PM, PP, CS, CATS) Facilitate testing of SAP changes with business users and SMEs Build strong working relationships with Finance leaders across multiple regions Follow and promote SAP standards, policies, and support processes Qualifications 10+ years of SAP configuration experience in Finance & Controlling 5+ years of SAP Project Systems experience Strong accounting, controlling, project management, and cost control knowledge Experience working in SAP ECC 6 and SAP S/4HANA Strong SAP integration knowledge across multiple modules Experience supporting manufacturing or project-based environments Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Comfortable mentoring others and leading working sessions Able to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization Nice to Have SAP S/4HANA experience in areas such as Finance, Fiori, VIM, journal automation, or group reporting COPA and results analysis experience SAP Concur exposure Experience supporting global SAP environments Why This Role Senior-level ownership without people management overhead Exposure to complex, global SAP environments Strong partnership with Finance and business leadership Competitive compensation and bonus structure Long-term, stable opportunity within an established organization Interested?
