We are looking for a talented Back-End Developer to help us with our growing needs. Your ability to create scalable, maintainable, and performant software is critical to the entire company's success. Responsibilities: Writing clean, well-organized, testable, and reusable code Continuously improving our existing product with new ideas and fine-tuning/adjusting our platform Producing clean, reliable code that you test before pushing Identifying and addressing performance bottlenecks with other engineers to improve performance Being available occasionally on call Taking direction from the Senior Software Engineer on features, while collaborating with the team to ensure technical alignment Required Qualifications and Experience: 7+ years (4+ years for Intermediate) of Java development experience with from-scratch systems, comfortable without an established framework 5+ years (2+ years for Intermediate) of experience with databases (Snowflake experience is a plus, PostgreSQL, MySQL). Solid understanding of indexes and optimization Strong, proven experience with OOP & REST design principles Basic knowledge of Networking/Protocols Basic knowledge of encryption Java 8+ / Spring / Spring Boot / Hibernate / Struts / JPA / Maven Experience with Kafka, Redis, ActiveMQ is a plus Experience working with a team to deliver software Passion for designing, building, and refining innovative applications Experience with Linux servlet containers and web servers Linux shell scripting and remote management via SSH Version control with Git / BitBucket Nice to Have: Experience in gaming, payment systems, game integration, KYC Experience with Stripes framework Experience in writing distributed systems in cloud environments such as AWS Knowledge of Docker / Kubernetes Experience with contest-logic programming, sports, gaming, etc. Experience with Snowflake / PostgreSQL / MySQL in performance tuning and issue resolution Proven experience in high traffic / high demand environments Skills in solving bottleneck issues through code optimization or threading Seniority Level Associate Employment Type Full-time Job Function Information Technology Industries Gambling Facilities and Casinos #J-18808-Ljbffr
