Paid Media Director Ayima is looking for an experienced Paid Media Director to lead and grow our boutique paid media team, working with ambitious global brands across multiple industries. This is a remote-first role, with a strong preference for candidates based in British Columbia (Vancouver ideal) to support PST-aligned client coverage. You’ll be stepping into a senior leadership role within a tight-knit, highly capable paid media team - with the opportunity to help shape the next phase of the business as our paid media division prepares to rebrand under “AtomicByte” in 2026. Who You Are You’re a confident, data-driven paid media leader who combines strategic thinking with hands‑on expertise. Have extensive agency experience, managing and scaling complex paid media accounts Are highly analytical, comfortable turning performance data into clear insights and decisions Can confidently lead senior client conversations, owning strategy, performance, and recommendations Have experience overseeing seven-figure paid media programs (or equivalent scale) Are calm under pressure, structured in your thinking, and decisive when it counts Enjoy mentoring and elevating the people around you Experience & Skills 5+ years of paid media experience (agency background strongly preferred) Deep expertise across key platforms, including: Google Ads (Search, Display, YouTube) Meta (Facebook & Instagram) Additional platforms such as LinkedIn, TikTok, or programmatic are a strong plus Tools such as Looker Studio, GA4, GTM, GMC, SEMRush Strong understanding of attribution, measurement, and performance frameworks Proven ability to balance strategic leadership with practical execution Key Responsibilities Own and lead paid media strategy across a portfolio of global clients Act as the senior point of contact for key client relationships Drive performance, testing roadmaps, and long-term growth strategies Partner closely with analytics, SEO, and content teams Lead, mentor, and develop paid media team members Help shape the future direction of the paid media practice as it transitions toward the AtomicByte brand Benefits RRSP matching Unlimited paid vacation Summer Fridays – finish early and enjoy the sun Co‑working budget to support flexible, remote‑first work About Ayima Founded in 2006, Ayima is a boutique global digital marketing agency with deep expertise in SEO, Paid Media, Content Marketing, Analytics, and Outreach.
