Adecco is currently recruiting for a Findur Developer for a 2-year remote contract. This role is with our Crown corporation client in downtown Ottawa, ON. The successful candidate must be eligible for a valid Secret Security Clearance .

The Findur Developer will have the following responsibilities:

  • design and implement enhancements to meet business requirements (regulatory driven and technology evergreening);
  • technical and root-cause analysis on issues and make recommendation for correction;
  • development practices such as test-driven development and DevOps;
  • and champion the current frameworks that have been built to automate and modernize the Findur application;
  • activities and deliverable, as required

The Findur Developer must meet the following mandatory requirements:

  • have a University degree or college diploma in computer science or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered;
  • have a minimum of five (5) years of demonstrated experience with Findur or Endur;
  • have a minimum of three (3) years of demonstrated experience with Java-based application development using Eclipse IDE, preferably with Oracle RBMS in the backend;
  • have a minimum of three (3) years of demonstrated experience with RDBMS databases; solid understanding of SQL;
  • have demonstrated experience in supporting applications with high-criticality, availability, reliability, and security requirements;
  • experience with Agile projects (SCRUM)
  • experience with performance testing
  • experience with financial applications/systems
  • experience with data warehouses
  • experience with DevOps (Jenkins, GitHUB)
