Build automation equipment as a Pipefitter at Valiant TMS, combining pneumatic and hydraulic installation skills with technical troubleshooting. Travel to customer facilities is part of the work.
With three or more years of experience, you will help deliver machine tool build and automation projects. The work includes interpreting pneumatic and fluid drawings, testing components, supporting controls design, and troubleshooting equipment during tryout. You will organize materials, guide outside contractors and internal apprentices, and coordinate with build leaders and other trades. Candidates need a completed apprenticeship and trade certification, or equivalent machine tool build or automation experience. Safe equipment operation and required certifications are also expected, including overhead cranes and forklifts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support controls design with practical trade input
- Plan work through lineup meetings and estimated hours
- Lead contractors and apprentices with technical direction
- Coordinate completion with project timelines and schedules
- Test equipment and troubleshoot during tryout
Requirements:
- Three or more years of experience
- Apprenticeship completion and trade certification or equivalent
- Ability to understand pneumatic and fluid drawings
- Team-based collaboration with trades and project personnel
- Legal authorization to work in Canada
