Patient service and optical support define this part-time position at FYidoctors Osoyoos, working 20–29 hours weekly from Monday to Saturday.
As a Patient Services Specialist, you will welcome patients, coordinate appointments, and support comprehensive eye care through pre-testing. You will also manage billing, payments, eyewear services, and patient communications. The position suits someone with retail experience, technology proficiency, and strong interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and manage clinic check-in and check-out
- Engage with patients in person, by phone, and email
- Perform pre-testing supporting comprehensive eye care
- Coordinate appointments, prescriptions, billing, and payments
- Manage eyewear pick-ups, repairs, and adjustments
Requirements:
- Previous retail experience considered an asset
- Proficiency with computers and MS Office Suite
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and manage changing priorities
- Collaborative, adaptable, proactive approach
