Join a reputable and established GTA based ICI General Contractor Oversee a highly skilled Estimating Department About Our Client Our client is a well-established, large organization within the Construction sector, specifically focusing on Industrial, Commercial and Institutional Construction. With a solid track record and a reputation for excellence, they are committed to delivering high-quality services and achieving outstanding results in the GTA. Job Description Generate comprehensive large scale complex estimates for ICI construction projects. Analyze blueprints, specifications, proposals, and other documentation. Coordinate with contractors, clients, and team members to gather necessary information. Prepare and submit budget estimates and cost tracking reports. Evaluate material and labor costs, considering current market trends. Oversee and manage the estimation team. Develop strategies to meet company objectives and maximize profitability. Ensure all work is completed in compliance with industry standards and company policies. The Successful Applicant A successful 'Chief Estimator' should have: 12-15+ years experience with a reputable General Contractor focused on Class A-D Estimates for ICI projects ranging from $1MM to $200MM in value Proficiency in construction estimating software. A thorough understanding of ICI construction processes. Solid knowledge of the property industry and market trends. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and leadership abilities. A degree in Construction Management, Engineering or a related field.
