Civil Engineering Technologist (NOC: 22300) – Whitehorse We currently have a job opening for a Civil Engineering Technologist in our Whitehorse office to join our growing team. You will join a dynamic team of engineers and technologists to provide design and construction inspection for a variety of clients with a focus on roads, site servicing, water distribution systems, wastewater collection systems, and stormwater management projects. Responsibilities Creating 2D conceptual drawings. Designing infrastructure, and commercial/land development projects with Civil 3D. Creating conceptual and preliminary designs. Preparing detailed design drawings. Supporting with tender documents. Supporting with engineering analysis. Supporting with technical report submissions. Conducting field surveys and data collection. Performing construction inspection and assisting with contract administration. Coordinating and communicating with multi-discipline project teams. Requirements Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology from an accredited post‑secondary institution. 1+ years of relevant experience in civil design. Experience in using theodolite and level. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Valid Driver’s License (required). Experience with construction inspection is an asset. Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Excellent attention to detail, accuracy and quality.
