Quality Assurance (QA) Technologist – Food & Beverage ManufacturingLocation: East Toronto (Onsite)Salary: $50,000 – $60,000 per year + benefitsJob Type: Full-time, PermanentAbout The OpportunityA well-established and growing food and beverage manufacturer is seeking a Quality Assurance Technologist to support and maintain high standards of food safety and quality within their facility. This is a great opportunity for a detail-oriented QA professional looking to build a career in a fast-paced and dynamic production environment.In this hands-on role, you’ll be an integral part of the Quality team, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, conducting inspections and tests, and collaborating with production to uphold safety and quality protocols. If you’re driven by accuracy, process, and continuous improvement, this position offers an engaging path forward.What You’ll DoConduct routine inspections of the production floor to verify adherence to GMP, HACCP, and other food safety standards Perform sampling and testing of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods Assist in the maintenance of quality systems, including documentation and record-keeping Support internal audits and assist in preparing for third-party inspections Investigate and report deviations or non-conformances, working with teams on corrective actions Help train production staff on food safety and quality best practices Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain product quality and operational efficiency What You Bring1–3 years of experience in a QA or food safety role within food or beverage manufacturing Diploma or degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or a related discipline Familiarity with food safety regulations and quality systems (GMP, HACCP, BRCGS/SQF preferred) Strong attention to detail, with excellent documentation and communication skills Ability to work independently and within a team in a production environment Flexibility to work various shifts as needed Why Consider This Role?Opportunity to grow your QA career in an established and supportive environment Join a collaborative team with a strong commitment to food safety and quality Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package If you're looking to apply your technical skills and passion for food safety in a hands-on role, we want to hear from you.This role is being recruited on behalf of our client by TalentSphere Staffing Solutions.
