As a key member of the Walmart checkout team, you will greet customers warmly and assist them with their purchases. This role requires you to handle transactions efficiently, ensuring register security, and educating customers on self-checkout options. You will also promote company programs while maintaining a safe and clean work area.
Key Responsibilities:
• Greet customers in a friendly and polite manner
• Process all purchase transactions efficiently and accurately
• Promote sponsored company programs such as credit card services
• Assist customers with bagging and loading merchandise
• Ensure a safe work environment through proper lifting practices
Requirements:
• Must be 18 years or older to apply
• Successfully completed training for handling alcohol products
• Familiarity with cash handling and register security
• Awareness of customer service best practices
• Ability to maintain a clean work area
