In this role, you will ensure proper food handling and maintain cleanliness in the deli area. As a Deli Associate, you'll engage directly with customers, preparing and serving various deli items while upholding Walmart's high service standards. Additionally, you will rotate stock, check expiration dates, and support front-end associates.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the deli area
• Prepare and slice deli meats and cheeses accurately
• Take customer orders and answers inquiries professionally
• Ensure compliance with food safety standards and policies
• Assist with pricing and stock rotation of merchandise
Requirements:
• Must be 16 years of age or older
• Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Familiarity with proper food handling techniques
• Willingness to maintain a clean and organized workspace
