Key Responsibilities Manage all aspects of Family Law files, including client consultations, pleadings, discovery, mediations, and trials Provide sound legal advice and practical solutions to clients Work collaboratively with colleagues across practice areas to support clients’ broader legal needs Participate in firm initiatives, professional development, and community engagement activities Uphold, promote and demonstrate our Firm core values, Integrity, Excellence and Innovation Qualifications The newest member of our team will have: More than 4 years of Family Law experience, preferably in BC; we are open to considering candidates with experience in other provinces LLB or JD and be a lawyer in good standing with the Law Society of British Columbia (or able to apply) Strong communication skills, self-motivated and organized A breadth and depth of legal knowledge and excellent business judgment Exceptional interpersonal and client service skills Energy and motivation to work independently and as part of a team A commitment to the highest standards of integrity, client service, and collegiality Why Join FH&P Lawyers LLP We offer an attractive and comprehensive compensation package, including: Competitive salary and performance-based bonus’ Extended health benefits, including a health and wellness program Generous vacation entitlement and paid sick days Firm-paid professional dues and paid parking Modern office space in Kelowna’s Landmark District Opportunities to participate in community groups, events, and committees – we are rooted in community.
