Contract Term: 6 Months Duration

Location: While this is a remote position, the successful candidate must be located within the GTA to attend meetings and photoshoots (approx. 5 days per month)


We’re looking for a Graphic Designer with strong digital skills to join our team. If you love fashion, beauty, and lifestyle brands, have a strong foundation in graphic design, and a portfolio to back it up, please apply.


Key Job Functions:

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and launch impactful marketing campaigns for The Shoe Co. and DSW brands, both online and in-store.
  • Design graphic elements and create engaging content for various digital channels, including e-commerce sites, email, display, and social media.
  • Create and update website graphics to enhance user experience and align with brand standards.
  • Drive performance-driven email campaigns and explore innovative formats for social media platforms.
  • Translate creative campaign needs into compelling visuals across all channels, maintaining an omnichannel experience.
  • Support partner initiatives by designing and launching brand-specific campaigns.
  • Willing to attend on-site photoshoots, brainstorming sessions, team lunches, etc. up to 5 days a month.


Desired Skills, Education & Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Graphic Designer in fashion and retail.
  • Portfolio demonstrating relevant experience.
  • Highly organized with the ability to juggle multiple projects.
  • Efficient while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Flexible and able to adapt to last-minute design needs and changes.
  • Understanding of user experience design best practices across digital and non-digital channels.
  • Knowledge of current web standards, cross-platform compatibility, and graphic design principles.
  • Familiarity with animation/video creation and editing tools and applications.
  • Ability to work within brand templates and deliver powerful creative designs.
  • Strong artistic talent and ability to integrate copy and design into cohesive storylines.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, video editing software, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Self-starter with excellent teamwork and multitasking skills in a fast-paced retail marketing environment.
  • Passion for pushing creative and design excellence.
