Role Overview You will lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of our telecommunications systems — with a heavy focus on VoIP, SIP, and AI-integrated call center solutions. Your work will power automated sales, service, and follow‑up communications at scale, allowing dealers to cut costs and improve customer experiences through CarAI. Key Responsibilities Design and maintain VoIP infrastructure, including PBX systems, SIP trunks, and call routing logic. Integrate telecommunications systems with AI‑driven platforms, CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce), and dealer software. Ensure low‑latency, high‑quality voice communication systems across regions and endpoints. Set up and manage cloud‑based call center platforms (e.g., Twilio, Genesys, Aircall, Five9). Collaborate with engineering and product teams to build voice‑enabled AI solutions. Implement call tracking, transcription, sentiment analysis, and AI‑enhanced agent handoffs. Monitor and troubleshoot voice performance, uptime, and QoS (quality of service) issues. Ensure compliance with telecommunications regulations, privacy policies, and security protocols. Provide support and onboarding assistance to dealership clients deploying CarAI voice systems. Document best practices and build scalable infrastructure as we expand globally. Qualifications 3+ years of experience as a Telecommunications Engineer, VoIP Engineer, or similar role. Proficient in SIP, RTP, PBX, and related protocols. Hands‑on experience with platforms like Twilio, Asterisk, FreePBX, Zoom Phone, or Cisco Call Manager. Experience integrating telecom with AI or CRM platforms is a strong plus. Knowledge of call center operations, IVR, call analytics, and speech recognition APIs. Strong networking knowledge (TCP/IP, firewalls, NAT traversal, etc.). Comfort working in remote, fast‑paced startup environments. Excellent communication and documentation skills. Nice to Have Experience working with dealerships or automotive retail clients. Familiarity with AI tools like Dialogflow, OpenAI, AssemblyAI, or Whisper. Ability to support multi‑country telecom deployments (Canada, U.S., eventually UK & EU).
