Youth Forge is a global youth‑led organization committed to inclusivity, social impact entrepreneurship, and youth empowerment. We work with young founders, researchers, and changemakers across India, Greece, UAE, Morocco, Uganda, Canada, Iran, Ghana, and beyond to build equitable, impact‑driven solutions for the future. We are building a trusted, authentic, and bold global brand—and we’re looking for a Director of Communications to lead that vision. Organization: Youth Forge Location: Remote (Global) Time Commitment: 2–3 hours/day, weekdays Reports to: Executive Director Role Overview The Director of Communications is responsible for building and maintaining brand trust and awareness for Youth Forge across multiple digital platforms. This role blends strategy, creativity, leadership, and execution, with a strong focus on Gen Z‑oriented storytelling and visual identity. You will work closely with the Executive Director, Executive Assistant, Advisory Board, and Market Researchers to translate Youth Forge’s mission into compelling content that attracts funding partners, sponsors, and global collaborators. Key Responsibilities Brand Strategy & Identity Develop and execute a strategic brand identity aligned with Youth Forge’s core values Maintain consistency across tone, visuals, messaging, and storytelling Collaborate with the Executive Director to shape a distinct and recognizable social brand Content Creation & Management Plan, create, and publish content across Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and the Youth Forge website Develop Gen Z‑oriented content including reels, short‑form videos, carousels, graphics, articles, podcasts, and campaigns Post regularly across all three main platforms Video & Visual Production Edit creative videos for social media, sponsorship pitches, partnerships, and campaigns Design brochures, posters, and social media visuals Collaborate with Market Researchers to collect and edit authentic field‑based videos that demonstrate Youth Forge’s real‑world impact Website & Digital Design Design and manage the Youth Forge website Implement strategic goals into website structure, information hierarchy, color palettes, fonts, and visual aesthetics Ensure the website reflects a professional, trustworthy, and youth‑driven brand Collaboration & Leadership Communicate directly with Executive Director, Executive Assistant, and Advisory Board Report triweekly on progress, analytics, and strategy Execute assigned tasks efficiently and independently Translate organizational vision into actionable communication strategies Qualifications 2–3 hours/day availability (weekdays only) Previous experience in marketing, communications, branding, or social media Strong ability to work remotely in a global team Comfortable meeting triweekly with leadership Ability to create consolidated communication plans and brand strategies Skills & Competencies Exceptional creativity and storytelling ability Website, brochure, poster, and social media design expertise Video editing for short‑form platforms Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work efficiently under high responsibility Flexibility and adaptability in fast‑moving environments Strategic thinking with strong execution skills Benefits & Opportunities Play an international role in empowering young founders Connect with a global network of youth leaders and advocates Collaborate with researchers driving impact across multiple countries Opportunity to travel to Toronto for exclusive content shoots at Phia HQ Features across Youth Forge’s official social platforms Performance‑based bonus incentives for top‑performing content Who Should Apply?
