Northwood is seeking a dedicated Continuing Care Assistant (CCA) for the Ivy Meadows facility. This position involves both effective communication and a client-focused approach. You will be part of a dynamic nursing team, supported by innovative management and a commitment to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with daily care activities for residents
• Communicate effectively with clients and families
• Utilize good organizational skills in daily tasks
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members
• Ensure safe and effective body mechanics in care
Requirements:
• Completion of a recognized CCA program
• Provincial CCA certification required
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with others
• Capability to perform heavy lifting as needed
