Senior Project Manager

Build and lead a team Build and lead a team that will function in a matrix environment to develop and implement the project deliverables with a focus on quality, productivity and consistency Provide technical direction and manage the resources assigned to the project and provide a framework for project planning Work with the customer to determine functional requirements Develop and apply techniques to improve productivity and efficiency, reduce risk, solve problems, enable customers to realize significant cost savings, and ensure deliverables are created on time and within the budget Attending daily scrums to keep a current understanding of the team's progress and issues, and to highlight any external issues that the team needs to be aware of when necessary Identify and supervise critical path activities and solve problems or raise them to immediate supervisor as needed Collaborate with clients and share functional professional knowledge to ensure products and deliverables are of the highest caliber Ensure proper use of methodology, tools and procedures Ensure proper governance is in place to best meet project objectives Communicate a clear vision of the project objectives and motivate the team to reach them Manage the financial aspects of the project: budget and financial tracking Provide support to the sales team as needed for proposals You have: Minimum of 10 years or more of SAP consulting experience 6 years or more experience in project management, including a minimum of 4 to 6 SAP full cycle implementations end-to-end and upgrades/conversions Advanced project management skills Experience in structured systems development and project management methodologies Previous experience as a functional SAP consultant preferred Strong ability to simultaneously manage multiple deliverables and projects Excellent presentation skills Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English You are: Solution-oriented Diplomat Creative, with innovative ideas Motivated and determined to succeed Autonomous with leadership Why Syntax?
