Overview We are seeking a geologist or geological engineer to oversee major geological works in the Greater Montréal area, specifically for the Blue Line Extension of the Montréal metro. Your Role Monitor excavation work of rock and various tests carried out by the contractor. Prepare site visit reports and daily reports on construction activities. Review and comment on site reports and cartographic models prepared by the contractor. Provide expertise and build trust-based relationships with clients through knowledge and experience. Produce geological maps according to the progress of the works. Coordinate between design engineers and construction representatives. About You Bachelor's degree in geology or geological engineering. Being a member of the Ordre des géologues du Québec (OGQ) and/or the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ). 10 to 15 years in geology with solid knowledge of the geology of the Greater Montréal area. Proficiency in terrain models, LiDAR, geophysical tools, GIS, and geological/geotechnical modeling software is an asset. Experience in tunnels, metro systems, and urban infrastructure (open-air and underground) is an asset. Fluency in French (spoken and written); bilingualism is an asset.
