Position Description Bridgenext is seeking a Senior Salesforce Developer to support a marquee wealth management and insurance company’s Canadian operations. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Salesforce development, including Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components, and will be responsible for building, customizing, and integrating Salesforce applications. The role requires strong collaboration with cross‑functional teams and a focus on best practices, scalability, and security. Responsibilities Build and customize Salesforce applications using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and declarative tools Develop and maintain integrations between Salesforce and external systems using APIs, middleware, and ETL tools (Amazon Connect experience preferred) Align development with best practices, scalability, and security standards Write clean, efficient, and well‑documented code; perform unit testing and participate in peer reviews Troubleshoot and optimize existing Salesforce implementations for performance and reliability Work with cross‑functional teams (Admins, Business Analysts, QA) to translate business requirements into technical solutions Demonstrate strong problem‑solving, communication, and collaboration skills Workplace Hybrid, requiring 3 days/week in Toronto office Must Have Skills 6+ years of Salesforce development experience (Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components) Familiarity with Sales, Service Cloud, Knowledge, and Contact Center operations Strong understanding of Salesforce data model, security model, and governor limits Experience with Salesforce APIs and integration patterns Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field Preferred Skills Experience with Amazon Connect, middleware, and ETL tools Experience with CRM Analytics & Skuid Experience with Financial Service Cloud Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps QA integration Professional Skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong team and individual player Maintains composure during all types of situations and is collaborative by nature High standards of professionalism, consistently producing high quality results Self‑sufficient, independent requiring very little supervision or intervention Demonstrate flexibility and openness to bring creative solutions to address issues Bridgenext is an Equal Opportunity Employer Canadian citizens and those authorized to work in Canada are encouraged to apply Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Full‑time Job function Information Technology Industries IT Services and IT Consulting Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Bridgenext by 2x Get notified about new Senior Salesforce Developer jobs in Greater Toronto Area, Canada . #J-18808-Ljbffr
