As the Junior Accountant, you will be responsible for cash and bank reconciliations, participating in preparing month end, while working on special projects for the department.


Some of What You’ll Do:


Bank Reconciliations:

  • Prepare bank reconciliations for all local and foreign bank accounts.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.


Month-End:

  • Prepare month-end schedules for various General Ledger (GL) accounts.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of all schedules.
  • Complete other month-end tasks by their stated deadline.
  • Assist in monthly P&L variance analytics.
  • Run system reports such as fixed asset continuity schedules and inventory schedules.


Special Projects:

  • Participate in special projects throughout the year, such as audits and other requests.
  • Provide support for ad-hoc financial analyses and projects as needed.

Some of What You’ll Need:

  • Accounting certificate/diploma or equivalent
  • 1 – 2 years of relevant industry experience

Moose Knuckles is a Canadian company headquartered in Montreal and operating in North America, Europe and Asia. Professional French language proficiency is therefore required and essential for all Montreal-based employees. In addition, the professional English proficiency is also important since it allows to collaborate with the employees of the group based internationally.
