Estimate or quote prices, credit or contract terms, trade‑in allowances, warranties and delivery dates. Oversee the preparation of sales and orders. Prepare sales or other contracts. Promote sales to existing clients and identify new potential clients. Assess client needs and recommend appropriate goods or services. Conduct sales transactions (including through internet‑based electronic commerce). Provide input into product design where goods or services must be tailored to client needs. Consult with clients after sale, providing ongoing support. Train customers’ staff in operation and maintenance of equipment. Resolve product and service related problems, troubleshoot equipment issues. Advertise and promote products, sales or services.
