Base pay range $35.00/hr - $45.00/hr Direct message the job poster from 347 Group, Inc. We have an immediate opportunity for a Power Systems Engineer in the Los Angeles area. This individual will be responsible for ensuring technical issues and problems are resolved. This is a hybrid position which requires in the office two days a week, Wednesday and Thursday. Duties and Responsibilities Ability to lead, supervise and coordinate the workflow and the execution of new technical strategies, equipment, or standards Experience conducting risk assessments and implementing risk mitigation strategies to ensure safety and reliability of project Experience providing engineering and technical expertise and guidance for the identification, analysis and resolution of high impact, complex and or cross-functional problems in engineering Responsible for ensuring the engineering facility design basis is controlled and the design basis documentation is maintained Responsible for planning and coordinating high-impact complex projects and conducting engineering and related studies Experience using electrical diagnosis equipment including multimeters and oscilloscopes Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math field a must Basic networking knowledge and skills required Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and wiring diagrams required Experience with control panel layout and component mounting (e.g. DIN rail, terminal blocks, relays required Skills in wire stripping, crimping, and routing neatly with enclosures required Experience using hand and power tools required Experience in instrumentation and data logging equipment Experience in automation software (LabView, Ovation) required Experience with energy storage, generators, microgrids a plus (Utilities, Power Systems Engineer, Electrical Schematics, Control Panels, LabView, Ovation) Seniority level Associate Employment type Contract Job function Electric Power Transmission, Control, and Distribution, Utilities, and Construction #J-18808-Ljbffr
