Graphic Designer

Reporting to the Art Director we’re looking for a full-time Graphic Designer to join the brand and creative team. The ideal candidate will have a well-rounded background in graphic design within the apparel industry and confidence to create highly engaging work across all channels from digital to in-store.


Responsibilities:

·      Collaborate with art director, designers, copywriters, and stakeholders to execute creative outputs across web, email, paid media, retail

·      Responsible for maintaining brand consistency across all projects in accordance with brand visual guidelines

·      Create compelling layouts, illustrations, and graphics that communicate key messages and promote Duer products and offers

·      Deliver creative projects on-time and in line with creative briefs

·      Own projects from concept to delivery

·      Develop presentation materials for concept pitching, creative reviews etc.

·      Maintain strong understanding of how the brand is maturing to ensure creative projects reflect evolution

·      Provide accurate and timely production-ready artwork files for print and digital

·      Organize and maintain design assets as per the process used in the design department

·      Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining a high level of attention to detail

·      Explore design, marketing, signage and packaging innovations and propose new ways to elevate design assets

 

Requirements:

·      Post-Secondary education in graphic design/communication design and/or relevant education

·      Minimum 3 years of experience as a graphic designer in an agency and/or in house

·      Detailed knowledge of design software and prototyping tools; Figma, Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator etc.)

·      A strong understanding of creating assets for digital marketing (you understand what it takes to create thumb-stopping content).

·      In-depth industry knowledge of standard formats (pixels, ratios, and appropriate file sizes)

·      A strong sense of ownership and accountability

·      Experienced working in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment
