Mental Health is an epidemic that’s getting worse day by day. Depression, anxiety, ADHD, suicide, PTSD are at an all-time high. This needs to change. We humans were not made for this sort of life. We were never designed for the sedentary, indoor, socially isolated, fast-food-laden, sleep-deprived, frenzied pace of modern life. We are being robbed by the same tech that was meant to add value to our lives. As a 3x founder, I’m looking to change the current eco-system in which we operate for mental health. I’m against anti-depressants, and most medications that are prescribed to numb our shit. Talk therapy is not as effective. We know ranting does not help solve our problems. CBT and DBT are great starting points but never enough to improve mental health. Our communities are falling apart ( I mean they are online yet not really helping us). Tech companies are using human psychology to trick us all to be addicted and exploit our insecurities. This is not the future we should live in. I’m looking for talented allstars to work with me to create a ground-breaking technology that revolutionizes mental health. No, it’s not just AI mental health chat bot. We are going beyond talk therapy, and focusing on emotional and brain training modalities. Integrating biofeedback to create an impactful approach to mental health. We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Electronics/Hardware Engineer to lead the development of innovative biomedical neurostimulation devices for therapeutic and wellness applications. You will architect and develop sophisticated biomedical systems that combine precise electrical stimulation with real-time physiological monitoring, advanced signal processing, and intelligent adaptive algorithms to deliver personalized therapeutic interventions. Key Responsibilities Stimulation Systems: Design precision waveform generation circuits for biomedical applications with high accuracy and safety standards - specialization in ultrasound is preferred. Multi-Channel Architecture: Develop independent channel stimulation capability for various therapeutic modalities Real-Time Monitoring: Create integrated biosensor systems for physiological parameter monitoring and feedback Signal Processing: Design low-noise analog front-ends with high-resolution ADCs for biomedical signal acquisition Power Management: Develop ultra-low-power systems with extended operation capability and advanced charging solutions Safety Systems: Implement comprehensive safety architecture, including current monitoring, contact detection, and automatic safety shut-offs User Interface: Design an intuitive user interaction system, including haptic feedback, display integration, and control interfaces Electrode Systems: Design and validate electrode interfaces ensuring optimal performance and user comfort Environmental Durability: Achieve appropriate ingress protection and operating temperature specifications Skin Safety: Implement hypoallergenic material selection with comprehensive safety validation Biomarker Analysis: Create physiological signal analysis capabilities for therapeutic monitoring Adaptive Algorithms: Design intelligent parameter optimization based on individual physiological response patterns Data Fusion: Integrate multiple sensor inputs for comprehensive physiological state assessment Medical Device Compliance: Ensure adherence to appropriate medical device classification requirements and quality system regulations International Standards: Implement relevant safety, EMC, usability, and risk management standards Software Standards: Comply with medical device software development lifecycle requirements Cybersecurity: Implement appropriate device security including secure communications and vulnerability management Clinical Standards: Support clinical investigation requirements and regulatory submission processes Design for Manufacturing: Optimize designs for scalable production with appropriate cost considerations Supply Chain: Manage component sourcing strategies and lifecycle planning Quality Systems: Implement design controls, change management, and process validation systems Test Systems: Develop validation and calibration systems for production environments Background Degree: Bachelors, Master's or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or related technical field Experience: 5+ years in medical device or biomedical electronics development with demonstrated progression Leadership: Experience leading technical teams through complex product development cycles Regulatory: Direct experience with medical device regulatory processes and quality systems Analog Design: Advanced mixed-signal circuit design, precision instrumentation, and biomedical safety circuits Digital Systems: Modern microcontroller platforms, real-time systems, and embedded software architecture Signal Processing: Digital signal processing, biomedical signal analysis, and algorithm development Wireless Systems: Contemporary wireless communication protocols and RF system design Power Electronics: Battery management, power optimization, and charging system design CAD Tools: Proficiency in professional PCB design and simulation tools Clinical Integration: Understanding of clinical requirements and regulatory development processes If you are someone who is a self-starter, and wants to build a legacy, this may be a good fit for you. 3600 Steeles Ave. ERoom E171, Markham,ON, L3R 9Z7 #J-18808-Ljbffr
