Summary This position is responsible for providing Human Resources consultation in the functional areas of Employee Relations, Health and Safety, Performance Management, and Employee Engagement. This position is also responsible for the communication and consistent application of company policy and procedures. RESPONSIBILITIES Compliance: Review porta report for expired SIN and work permit expiry dates and follow-up with team member. Audit the new hire onboarding for compliance. (Safety Video, Onboarding Checklist). Follow-up with site management. Lead employee-related investigations to conclusion. Support the management team with performance improvement plans and performance management documentation up to termination. Manage the STD program. Receive medical documentation, place on leave, follow-up for updated medical, forward LTD paperwork. Coordinate return to work and any required accommodation. Provide administrative support for salary adjustments, promotions, transfer, leave of absences and terminations. Health & Safety : Ensure the H&S Boards are updated with relevant company and legislative posting requirements. Coordinate training for committee members and ensure that the expiry date is noted for recertification. (First Aid & AED) Participate in the site H&S meetings and inspections as scheduled. Ensure H&S training has been completed during onboarding and facilitate training on topics provided by the Health and Safety department. Manage CNESST compliance with site management. Enter all relevant information into resolver. Follow-up with the team member on all medical documentation and to ensure modified duties are provided. Meet with Return-to-work specialists as required and close off all incident/accidents in Resolver when file is closed. Existing TM & New Hire Questions, Concerns & Feedback: Meet with newly hired team members to solicit their feedback on their onboarding experience. Ensure benefit enrollment and beneficiary forms are completed and submitted on time. Review safety videos and policies if they need clarification. Field team member questions and concerns with a resolution with management Be visible on-site floor and lunchroom. Communication, Employee Engagement & Retention: Responds to Team Member concerns while walking the floor Ensure policies and programs are communicated to site management. Support the rollout of the EOS by ensuring team members are scheduled off the floor to complete survey. Facilitate the communication of dashboards and support the documentation of action items. Follow-up with management that the results have been shared during town halls with team members and audit periodically throughout the year that the action items are measured. Provide employment letters, promotions, transfer letters and ensure Porta is updated. Participate in town halls, present relevant HR information/updates. Participate in site culture events. Attend social activities to build presence and team engagement. (Holiday Events, Milestones/Birthdays/Retirement, & Culture Events) Recruitment & Selection: In collaboration with the Recruitment team implements strategies for recruitment that are inclusive Provides support in sourcing and screening of candidates, conducts interviews, checks references, completes background checks, and prepares offer letters for successful candidates. Provides response to HR questions as requested via the company's website. EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION Post secondary education/certification in Human Resources preferred. RESPONSABILITÉS Conformité Examiner le rapport Porta pour les NAS expirés et les dates d'expiration des permis de travail, puis effectuer le suivi auprès du membre de l'équipe. Vérifier l'intégration des nouvelles recrues pour assurer la conformité (vidéo de sécurité, liste de contrôle d'intégration). Effectuer le suivi avec la direction du site. Mener les enquêtes liées aux employés jusqu'à leur conclusion. Soutenir l'équipe de direction dans l'élaboration des plans d'amélioration de la performance et la documentation de la gestion de la performance jusqu'à la cessation d'emploi. Gérer le programme d'assurance invalidité de courte durée (ICD). Recevoir la documentation médicale, placer en congé, assurer le suivi des mises à jour médicales, transmettre les formulaires d'assurance invalidité de longue durée (ILD). Coordonner le retour au travail et toute mesure d'adaptation nécessaire. Fournir un soutien administratif pour les ajustements salariaux, les promotions, les transferts, les congés et les cessations d'emploi. Santé et Sécurité Veiller à ce que les tableaux de santé et sécurité soient mis à jour avec les affichages requis par l'entreprise et la législation. Coordonner la formation des membres du comité et s'assurer que la date d'expiration est notée pour le renouvellement de certification (premiers soins et DEA). Participer aux réunions et inspections de santé et sécurité sur le site, selon le calendrier établi. S'assurer que la formation en santé et sécurité a été complétée lors de l'intégration et faciliter les formations sur les sujets fournis par le département de santé et sécurité. Gérer la conformité avec la CNESST en collaboration avec la direction du site. Saisir toutes les informations pertinentes dans Resolver. Assurer le suivi auprès du membre de l'équipe concernant toute documentation médicale et veiller à ce que des tâches modifiées soient fournies. Rencontrer les spécialistes du retour au travail au besoin et clôturer tous les dossiers d'incidents/accidents dans Resolver une fois le dossier fermé. Communication, Engagement et Rétention des Employés Répondre aux préoccupations des membres de l'équipe lors des déplacements sur le plancher. Veiller à ce que les politiques et programmes soient communiqués à la direction du site. Soutenir le déploiement de sondage de satisfaction en s'assurant que les membres de l'équipe sont libérés du plancher pour compléter le sondage. Faciliter la communication des tableaux de bord et appuyer la documentation des mesures à prendre. Assurer le suivi avec la direction afin que les résultats soient partagés lors des assemblées générales avec les employés et effectuer des audits périodiques tout au long de l'année pour vérifier que les mesures sont évaluées. Fournir des lettres d'emploi, de promotion, de transfert et veiller à ce que Porta soit mis à jour. Vérifier que le contenu des téléviseurs est actualisé. Mettre à jour le tableau " Nos Étoiles " avec les photos des gagnants. Participer aux assemblées générales et présenter des informations/mises à jour RH pertinentes. Participer aux événements culturels du site. Assister aux activités sociales afin de renforcer la présence et l'engagement de l'équipe (événements festifs, jalons/anniversaires/retraites et événements culturels). Recrutement et Sélection En collaboration avec l'équipe de recrutement, mettre en œuvre des stratégies de recrutement inclusives. Apporter un soutien dans la recherche et la présélection des candidats, mener des entretiens, vérifier les références, effectuer les vérifications d'antécédents et préparer les lettres d'offre pour les candidats retenus. Répondre aux questions RH transmises via le site web de l'entreprise. FORMATION ET EXPERIENCE Études postsecondaires/certification en ressources humaines préférées. Membre de l'ordre des conseillers en ressources humaines agéés (CRHA) 4 à 7 ans d'expérience.
