Responsibilities Hybrid IBM ITX Specialist role with Maplesoft Group for our client (Hybrid role can be filled in Calgary, Winnipeg or Toronto). Key responsibilities: Develop, Review, Testing and Delivering quality projects meeting the business requirements. Key contribution areas: Requirement gathering Perform Proof of Concept Project development and execution Documenting and educating users Provide required support Detailed activities by area: Requirement gathering: establish common understanding of the customer’s requirements. Tasks include attending requirement gathering workshops and data collection; analyze and convert requirements to system requirements. Design and POCs: prepare project design documents; build Proof of Concept to evaluate software and verify solutions. Tasks include preparing design specifications, integration requirements, and technical design, designing interfaces and BPM workflows, building POCs in new features and enhanced versions of WTX. Project development and execution: prepare design documents, develop POCs, build solution components, conduct User Acceptance Testing, and support Go-live. Tasks include developing solutions, building interfaces, preparing/test planning and documentation in HPALM, unit/integration testing, coordinating with business users, deploying code to GIT/SVN, and ensuring production readiness. Documentation and education for users: document usage, conduct sessions for users, perform peer and senior reviews. Provide required support: ensure applications run with proper alerting; provide ongoing application support with multiple stakeholders. Requirements (skills contractor should have) At least 7 years of experience with EAI Technologies in design and development At least 5 years of experience with WTX 8.4+ or IBM Transformation Extender in development and support Design and development of integration solutions using WTX 8.4+ or IBM Transformation Extender Support experience in WTX 8.4+ or IBM Transformation Extender projects Migration experience in WTX 8.4+ or IBM Transformation Extender projects Knowledge of WTX 8.4+ or IBM Transformation Extender Monitoring and Admin activities Experience with Trading Manager (Message Manager and Partner Manager) Understanding of EDI X12 guidelines Knowledge of SQL/PLSQL stored procedures Knowledge of FTP, FTPS, SFTP Experience with Linux OS Flexible to work in on-call/support rotation Good communication skills and ability to directly communicate with business About Maplesoft Maplesoft Group prides itself on its distinct corporate culture and recognizes that success is a direct reflection of our most valuable asset - our people.
