Job Description:

We are looking for a reliable and responsible Neighborhood Watch Security Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be dedicated to ensuring the safety and security of residential communities by providing visible presence, monitoring activities, and responding to emergencies. This role requires excellent communication skills, a proactive approach to safety, and a commitment to serving the community.

Key Responsibilities:

- Patrol assigned neighborhoods to observe and report on suspicious activity.- Monitor security cameras, alarms, and other surveillance equipment.- Respond to calls regarding security concerns and emergencies.- Engage with residents, providing information and assistance as needed.- Report incidents, violations, and safety hazards in a timely manner.- Enforce community rules, policies, and procedures as applicable.- Provide first aid or emergency assistance if necessary.- Complete detailed incident reports and maintain accurate logs.- Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services when required.- Maintain visibility and a presence in the community to deter potential crime.

**Required Qualifications:**

- Ontario Security License (valid and up-to-date).- Valid Ontario Driver’s License with a clean driving record.- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.- Ability to stay calm and think clearly in emergency situations.- Physically capable of walking or patrolling for extended periods.- Knowledge of basic security procedures and protocols.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.- Must be reliable, punctual, and have a strong sense of responsibility.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

- Previous security or law enforcement experience.- Basic first aid and CPR certification.-Use of Force certification is an asset- Knowledge of neighborhood watch programs or community engagement.
