Java Software Engineer

Java Backend Engineer We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Java Backend Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining scalable, high-performance backend systems using modern technologies such as Microservices, Spring Boot, and APIs. This is a hybrid role, offering the flexibility of remote work with occasional in-office collaboration in Sunnyvale, CA. Responsibilities Design, implement, and maintain backend services and applications using Java and Spring Boot . Develop and maintain scalable Microservices that communicate seamlessly through well-designed APIs . Collaborate on system design, architecture, and strategy to build resilient, highly performant systems. Create and integrate RESTful APIs for internal and external services, ensuring reliability and high availability. Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability, ensuring that systems can handle increasing loads and complex business logic. Utilize advanced knowledge of Data Structures and Algorithms to solve complex problems, enhance application performance, and improve system efficiency. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including front-end engineers, product managers, and DevOps, to ensure successful project delivery. Qualifications 6+ years of professional experience in backend development using Java . Strong experience in developing Microservices and backend applications using Spring Boot . Hands‑on experience in building and deploying Microservices in a cloud environment (AWS, Azure, GCP). Expertise in designing and developing RESTful APIs , with a focus on performance and security. Strong understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms , and the ability to apply this knowledge in solving real‑world problems. Proficiency with relational and NoSQL databases, including SQL and MongoDB . Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities, with the ability to think critically and independently.
