The Human Resources Specialist leads the development and execution of HR strategies, policies, and best practices while managing day-to-day HR operations. The role partners closely with leadership and stakeholders to strengthen people operations, employee relations, and organizational effectiveness. The Senior HR Specialist operates at the core of people operations, including HR processes, recruitment initiatives, and HR systems, ensuring Prime Health remains an employer of choice and a great place to work. Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with organizational goals and objectives. Provide leadership and guidance to the HR team, fostering a high-performance and collaborative culture. Oversee recruitment, selection, and onboarding processes to attract and retain top talent. Design and implement talent management initiatives, including performance management and career development programs. Manage employee relations to promote a positive, inclusive, and respectful work environment. Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives, feedback mechanisms, and recognition programs. Oversee compensation and benefits programs to ensure market competitiveness, equity, and compliance. Manage employee benefits and support negotiations with benefits providers and vendors. Plan and deliver training and development programs to enhance employee skills and organizational capability. Support succession planning and leadership development initiatives. Exceptional organizational and time management skills. Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities. High level of attention to detail and accuracy. Strong understanding of Labor Law and Employment Standards legislation. Demonstrated expertise in HR administration and people management. Comprehensive knowledge of HR functions, policies, and best practices. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficient in MS Office and other business and communication tools.
