Workplace Arrangements This role will follow a hybrid schedule. Applicants for this role can expect to work on-site from our Laval Office, 1001 Bd du Curé-Labelle, Laval, QC 1-2 times a month for an 8‑5 schedule. Candidates who live in the Ottawa/Gatineau area and can go into the Ottawa Home Office, 2480 Walkley Rd 1-2 times a month for an 8‑5 schedule, will also be considered. Prepares reporting and category specific analysis to support the planner with the weekly and monthly analysis of sales, profitability, and inventory Populate the monthly Post Mortem reports of actual results for Merchandise Financial Planners Provide straightforward ad‑hoc sales analysis and reporting weekly to support business decisions and strategic initiatives Enter budgets and forecasts into TM1 as assigned by the Merchandise Financial Planner Support the reconciliation of store plans to ensure alignment with financial and operational targets Populate weekly promotional reporting based on actuals What You’ll Bring Post secondary education (Business Administration, Finance, or Mathematics preferred) A genuine interest in the retail industry and growing a career with a leading Canadian brand Demonstrates a good understanding of the retail Merchandise Financial Planning process and key performance metrics Possesses effective analytical skills, with the ability to spot trends and suggest actionable solutions Effective communication skills; able to interact with all levels of the organization, with the ability to present information in a clear and concise manner.
