Manager, Franchisee Communications, TH, Canada We are seeking a seasoned communications professional to translate business priorities for Tim Hortons franchisees and their teams, shaping the restaurant communications strategy and leading day-to-day responsibilities including content creation, channel management, and data analysis to drive content strategy. Job Summary We are looking for a communications professional who is passionate about solving problems and testing new ideas. You will be responsible for translating business priorities for Tim Hortons franchisees and their teams and connecting the dots to make communications more impactful and effective. You will shape the restaurant communications strategy for one of Canada’s most loved brands, while leading day-to-day responsibilities, including content creation, channel management, and data analysis to drive content strategy. You will report to and partner with the Director of Internal, Franchisee and Advisory Board Communications. RBI follows a 5 day, in-office work schedule to support collaboration. Candidates should be comfortable working onsite 5 days per week. Core Responsibilities Franchisee and Restaurant Communications: Build strong relationships and work cross-functionally to stay aligned with business priorities; advise senior leadership on the most effective way to deliver messages to the restaurant level. Create and implement an insights-driven restaurant communications strategy for Tim Hortons (channel creation/optimization, execution, and leadership reporting). Develop content strategy with consistent messaging and alignment to brand strategy for communication channels (e.g., agenda/narrative for franchisee meetings, weekly business update notes, webcasts). Craft and edit content across channels tailored to target audiences and manage end-to-end processes. Develop and disseminate key franchisee and restaurant communications (weekly franchisee note, franchisee intranet, monthly webcast, ad hoc communications). Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop and refine content. Lead reporting on content performance and provide insights on engagement and opportunities using data. Adopt, adapt, or develop communication strategies and tools aligned with business priorities. Event Management: Lead planning and execution of regional franchisee meetings in 6–10 Canadian cities, including content planning with senior leadership, venue sourcing, and event logistics; manage registration portals and post-event communications. Lead planning and execution of virtual regional franchisee meetings, including content planning, communications, and registration management. Issues and Crisis Communications: Draft and distribute franchisee and restaurant communications for recalls, product issues, procedural alerts, and other topics; advise on channels and proactive/reactive approaches; participate in cross-functional crisis teams and crisis calls. Develop and Rollout Tools and Intranet: Manage and become an expert on communication platforms; lead the implementation of new tools and the development of a new restaurant communications intranet, including project charters and cross-functional delivery. Franchisee Recognition Program: Lead franchisee awards and recognition for conventions and regional meetings, including communications and budget tracking. Education and Qualifications Bachelor's degree in communications or related field, or relevant professional certifications. 5–7 years of professional experience in communications within restaurant, grocery-retail, hospitality, or related operations. Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to distill complex information into clear, concise narratives. Impeccable attention to detail; forward and creative thinker with strong problem-solving abilities. Team player with proactive interpersonal skills; able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple tasks to meet deadlines. Proven ability to articulate information to leadership to influence decisions and drive results. Curious, proactive, and positive attitude; bilingualism is an asset; event experience is an asset. The RBI Culture Dream Big Ownership Meritocracy Diversity Creativity & Innovation Authenticity Salary and Benefits Base salary range of $100,000.00 – $130,000.00. Salary may vary based on experience, education, location, and skills. This position may participate in the company’s discretionary bonus plan and may be eligible for equity grants under the long-term incentive plan.
