Stock fresh produce at Walmart Canada in Oshawa while applying food safety knowledge and delivering organized, customer-focused service. This position supports a well-maintained department.
As a Produce Stocker, you will maintain the produce area, support fresh product sales, and help create a positive shopping experience. The work includes product rotation, pricing, signage, stocking, sanitation, cold chain procedures, and health and safety compliance. Availability for varied shifts is required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Keep the produce department clean, organized, and neatly zoned
- Rotate products and remove expired items regularly
- Apply accurate pricing, labels, markdowns, and signage
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and cold chain procedures
- Stock merchandise and set modulars, flex modulars, and shelf caps
Requirements:
- Be 16 years of age or older
- Work evenings, weekends, holidays, and varied shifts
- Stand for extended periods while completing repetitive tasks
- Lift inventory, equipment, or supplies up to 20 pounds
- Occasionally lift inventory, equipment, or supplies up to 50 pounds
