Support refined French-inspired dining at Auberge du Pommier in Toronto with food running, table readiness, and attentive guest service during dinner service.
As a part time Server Assistant, you will support Servers under Front of House Management direction. You will inspect mise en place, cleanliness, and completeness while maintaining product knowledge, floor awareness, and presentation standards. The position includes dinner service and occasional lunch services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect tables for proper mise en place and cleanliness
- Run food to the proper guests without auctioning plates
- Answer questions about food, beverages, wine, and services
- Communicate guest comments to Servers for memorable experiences
- Monitor food quality, presentation, and section cleanliness
Requirements:
- Smart Serve Certification is required
- High attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong oral communication and product knowledge
- Ability to take direction and prioritize
- Ability to stand extended periods and lift 25-35 pounds
