Responsibilities Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging, standards‑aligned lessons for Grade 7/8. Assess and document student learning, provide feedback. Maintain a positive and disciplined classroom environment. Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to enhance student learning. Communicate regularly with parents, guardians, and stakeholders. Compensation Package Details Daily rate of pay: $292.63 – $618.32 per day, prorated for FTE pursuant to the ETFO – OT Collective Agreement. Pension plan: Defined pension plan through Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan. Health & dental benefits: May be provided through Ontario Teachers' Insurance Plan (OTIP). Required Qualifications Good standing with the Ontario College of Teachers or a transitional certificate from the Ontario College of Teachers. Required divisional qualifications as noted above. Demonstrated experience in the assigned duties of a teacher. Proven ability to maintain discipline in the classroom (classroom management). Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively in a team environment. Experience with G‑Suite (Gmail, Google Classroom, Google Docs, Google Sheets, etc.) and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Teams, etc.).
