We are seeking a skilled and experienced Business Intelligence (BI) Developer to join our team. As a BI Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our business intelligence solutions. You will collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, design data models, and create insightful reports and visualizations. Your role will be crucial in providing accurate and timely data-driven insights that drive informed decision-making across the organization. Responsibilities Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for BI solutions. Design and develop data models, ETL processes, and data integration workflows to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into the BI environment. Build and maintain data warehouses, data marts, and data cubes to facilitate efficient data retrieval and analysis. Develop interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations using BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or QlikView. Conduct data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies, and provide actionable insights to business users. Perform data quality assessments and ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity. Collaborate with the IT team to ensure data security, performance optimization, and system scalability. Conduct performance tuning and optimization of BI solutions to improve query response times and overall system performance. Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in the BI field and recommend innovative solutions to enhance our data analytics capabilities. Provide training and support to end-users on BI tools and solutions, promoting self-service analytics within the organization. QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Proven experience as a Business Intelligence Developer or similar role. Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with database management systems (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL). Proficiency in data modeling concepts and designing dimensional data models. Hands-on experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or QlikView. Knowledge of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and tools. Familiarity with data visualization best practices and ability to create compelling reports and dashboards. Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, including star schema, snowflake schema, and data aggregation techniques. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
