This position focuses on front-end development with GenAI integration to deliver AI-enhanced user experiences for thousands of users navigating the Canadian immigration system. Responsibilities Join a high-velocity engineering team delivering fast, accessible, and GenAI-enhanced user experiences for thousands of users. Translate Figma designs into responsive, production-grade interfaces—or design directly from product requirements when needed. Build intuitive, mobile-friendly, and performant UIs using modern front-end frameworks. Explore and define integration pathways for GenAI-powered features with AI and product teams. Contribute to architectural decisions and help build a scalable codebase. Partner with quality engineers to define and execute testing strategies enabling rapid iteration and smooth deployments. Learn and apply new tools to improve development speed, usability, and cross-team collaboration. Offer feedback and mentorship to peers and contribute to the hiring process as the team grows. Ship work quickly and observe its impact in production. Qualifications 4+ years of experience building and maintaining complex web applications. Strong fluency in JavaScript/TypeScript and front-end frameworks such as ReactJS. Proven ability to implement Figma designs accurately or work directly from product specs when needed. High standards for code quality, maintainability, and performance; front-end work as infrastructure, not just UI. Passion for accessible, user-centered design that performs well across devices. Curiosity for GenAI and emerging tech, with a desire to experiment with new user interactions. Analytical mindset and a sense of technical ownership; ability to think long-term and design for scale. Great communication and collaboration skills. Bonus: experience with containerized environments, AWS, or startup/scale-up environments.
