Provide thorough housekeeping and sanitation at Riverbend Retirement in Edmonton, using institutional cleaning techniques and safe work practices. This is a full-time position.
As a Housekeeping and Laundry Aide with Cogir Senior Living, you will clean resident apartments and common areas throughout the residence. Your work includes floor care, garbage removal, documentation, and supporting resident rights. Training, staff meetings, and quality improvement participation are also required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean apartments and common areas using assigned schedules
- Operate floor care machines and steam cleaning equipment
- Strip, scrub, spray, and buff floor surfaces
- Transport garbage to designated areas
- Attend training, meetings, and quality improvement activities
Requirements:
- Good oral and written English communication skills
- Knowledge of standard institutional cleaning techniques
- Commercial, residential, healthcare cleaning experience desirable
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Current Vulnerable Sector Check or willingness to obtain one
Support residents at Riverbend Retirement through reliable housekeeping, sanitation, floor care, and respectful service every day.
