Torch cutting is central to this Operations role with CMI in Cambridge, Ontario, working outdoors during a continental day shift. Candidates receive training.
CMI seeks a Torch Person to cut oversized ferrous material to required specifications. The position also supports general labour requirements across recycled metal operations. Previous torch-cutting or outdoor experience is valued, alongside physical ability and strong English communication skills. Work occurs from 5:00 am to 5:00 pm, including every other weekend.
Key Responsibilities:

- Provide extra assistance with general labour requirements
- Work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Requirements:
- Previous torch-cutting experience is valued
- Previous outdoor work experience is valued
- Ability to work in a physically demanding position
- Strong English communication skills
- Availability for continental day shifts and alternate weekends
