We are seeking creative, dynamic, and committed teachers to join our team at Maplewood Intermediate School (formerly Stittsville IS).

NEW Maplewood Intermediate School located in Stittsville at 700 Cope Drive

Principal: Krista Hudson

School Hours: 8:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Program features include:

*English with Core French

*Early French Immersion

*Middle French Immersion

Ideal candidates will support the fulfillment of the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board’s (OCDSB) Strategic Plan to enhance the quality of education in the school, and the District, by creating a positive and inclusive school climate, learning and workplace environment. Eligibility List

All Occasional Teachers are eligible to apply for Long Term Occasional postings for which they are qualified.

If you are fully external to the OCDSB, you may apply to this posting if you have the required qualifications. Please be advised that our order of consideration for Elementary LTO's is as follows: current elementary occasional teacher applicants, followed by qualified external applicants.

Process for selection:

A minimum of 3 qualified applicants will be offered an interview, including:

1. At least three (3) teachers, who are currently employed as an occasional teacher with the OCDSB, and who have the required OCT qualifications and who best meet the criteria outlined in the job posting.

2. If fewer than three (3) qualified applicants apply, all qualified applicants will be interviewed.
