Family Medicine Queen's County Primary Care Clinic Liverpool Part-time Expected Hours: Part-time hours (0.5 FTE) Estimated Annual Salary: To Be Determined Zone: Western Zone Specialization: Family Practice Type of Remuneration: Sessional Rate Incentive Programs Available: Yes Liverpool is a beautiful oceanside town in the South Shore of Nova Scotia, supported by a close group of family doctors providing full-scope primary care services. The clinic provides appointments for people who have an immediate health care need that requires care. Patients can make an appointment with a healthcare provider at the clinic while they continue to remain on the registry to find a family practice. This clinic is collaborative in nature and will consist of family physicians, nurse practitioners, family practice nurses, care team assistant, social worker and pharmacist. It is managed by Nova Scotia Health with administrative support and is fully integrated on a Med Access. Responsibilities Physician will be responsible to the zone department head of family practice for their professional responsibilities and quality of practice, and will operate within the Medical Staff Bylaws of the Nova Scotia Health Authority Hours Sessional hourly rate available. Flexible hours can be accommodated. Liverpool also has many facilities to relax and stay fit. The Queens Place Emera Centre has an ice rink, walking track, and fitness centre. White Point Beach Resort has a pool, hot tub, sauna and a gourmet restaurant for you and your family to enjoy.
