Sales & Service Manager – Yorkdale Shopping Centre at ALO We are looking for a dynamic, customer‑focused leader who will enhance the guest experience while driving sales and managing the store team. Overview The Sales & Service Manager is part of the store leadership team responsible for executing ALO’s business and guest experience strategy in store. The role focuses on sales targets, guest experience, and talent development to uphold ALO’s guiding principles. Key Responsibilities Investigate and root cause sales opportunities, partnering with the General Manager to address process or system gaps. Lead the Sales & Service team to deliver exceptional guest experience, providing coaching and feedback. Build daily client relationships with customers. Maintain sales floor coverage through workforce planning and selling initiatives. Help develop and implement the Sales & Service strategy in collaboration with the General Manager. Represent the business in meetings and calls, working with the General Manager. Monitor and manage budget, reporting, and metrics (e.g., expenses, sell‑through) to inform planning. Ensure the Sales, Service, and Community team embodies ALO’s mission and principles. Coach and develop team members, manage success plans, and recruit talent. Write schedules that align with business strategy. Oversee execution of deliverables on the ALO Sales and Service Model, protecting operational efficiency. Collaborate with business partners to support organizational goals. Navigate the organization balancing business needs and brand culture. Qualifications 3–5 years of retail or related leadership experience. Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Exceptional interpersonal and written / verbal communication. Adaptable to a changing environment. Strong time‑management and personal accountability. Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, bend, kneel, climb, crawl, twist, and stand for an entire shift. Alignment with ALO’s Guiding Principles. Schedule & Hours Full‑time. Employees must be available for opening, closing, and weekend shifts. All full‑time employees are expected to work during the company’s blackout period from Thanksgiving through the first week of January.
