Senior Practice Consultant, Private Banking – TD Securities Location: Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Hours: 37.5 hours per week. Line of Business: TD General. Base Pay: $91,200 – $136,800 CAD (subject to qualifications and experience). Role Overview At TD Wealth, advisors and bankers strive to deliver exceptional client outcomes while building world‑class private banking practices. The Senior Practice Consultant works within the Practice Management team to coach and develop private bankers, advisors, leaders, and support teams, delivering critical skills and thought leadership that drive legendary client experiences and business growth. The consultant conducts principle discovery, analyzes the practice, identifies strengths and opportunities, and gains deep understanding of what matters most to clients and the organization. The role partners with the National Office and the broader TD enterprise to provide end‑to‑end support to advisors and bankers on all facets of their personal and practice growth. Key Responsibilities • Drive practice enhancement, engagement, and coaching for Private Bankers across the private banking practice management spectrum.• Serve as a subject‑matter expert and consultant, delivering solutions that harness the breadth of Practice Management (PM) across prospecting, value‑proposition creation, discovery, planning, credit acumen, retail relationship growth, and consulting on all stages of the practice lifecycle.• Design and implement tactical PM initiatives at the leader and private banker level.• Lead larger group thought‑leadership sessions, deckside one‑on‑one and team engagements, and travel extensively to support private bankers regionally. Requirements & Credentials Proven track record in delivering Mass Affluent & HNW advice and solutions to clients. 10+ years of Sales Leadership, Coaching, Training, Private Banking and/or Advisory experience. Excellent presentation skills and a history of one‑on‑one and group coaching. Forward‑looking thought leader with problem‑solving skills, deep understanding of practice optimization, and ability to develop pragmatic, effective solutions. Ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously, with disciplined review cycles, timelines, implementation, and sustainment. Strong independent work style and self‑source solution capabilities. Ability to guide others to desired conclusions, influence, and drive accountability. Knowledge of TD Wealth & Private Banking products, systems, procedures and structure. Understanding of Private Wealth Management business; credit acumen, banking regulations and procedures. Subject‑Matter Expertise or industry certifications/accreditations such as CSC, IFIC, CRS, CSWP, CIM, TEP, PFP, PFPc, CFP, CFA considered an asset. Team player who can help others understand complex issues and influence diverse groups toward a common goal. Strong collaborative skills and experience partnering with business units. Exceptional communication skills with diverse audiences. Coaching designations such as ACC, PCC (International Coaching Federation) considered an asset. Consulting certifications such as Kolbe, StrengthsFinder, DISC, Myers‑Briggs considered an asset. Additional Information The successful candidate must be comfortable with regular regional travel to meet with Private Bankers and branch teams.
