Crafted Highlights In the role of Asset Care Team Leader at the St. John’s Brewery, the successful candidate will provide leadership to the brewery Asset Care Team, including hourly, salaried, and contract employees, to proactively maintain brewery assets, facilities, and infrastructure. They will plan and coordinate maintenance resources for the execution of planned preventive maintenance events, manage maintenance personnel at the point of work, and coordinate shift maintenance personnel for emergency repairs due to unexpected breakdowns to reduce unscheduled downtime. They will provide leadership and prioritize repairs for high‑speed manufacturing equipment and maximize utilization of maintenance resources and equipment uptime. What You’ll Be Brewing Works with a safety mindset and ensures brewery and Asset Care compliance with all relevant EH&S legislation and regulations Champions a culture of proactive and preventative maintenance with safety, quality, and reliability as key priorities Leads the team’s pursuit of continuous improvement under the umbrella of World Class Supply Chain (WCSC) Responsible for developing and following the brewery Asset Care strategy aligned to MCBC’s Ensures the brewery meets demands of forthcoming local and corporate initiatives, which includes but is not limited to structured work compliance, preventive maintenance, autonomous maintenance, focused improvement, and other relevant daily management systems Always operates in alignment with Our Purpose, Ambition, and Values Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in science/engineering, Technology Program from an accredited post‑secondary school, or Red Seal Industrial Millwright or Electrician 3–5 years’ experience in a high‑speed, manufacturing environment Leading teams with a culture of continuous improvement and an EHS mindset Asset Care Planner/Scheduler and SAP experience are considered assets Benefits We care about our People and Planet and have challenged ourselves with stretch goals around our key priorities We care about our communities, and play our part to make a difference – from charitable donations to hitting the streets together to build parks.
