Use your unique design perspective to bring new approaches to design process and strategy, develop next-generation talent, and help our clients redesign what’s possible.**What You Will Do*** Lead creative efforts on a variety of client projects, developing overall design concepts and design presentation strategies* Mentor and provide creative direction to junior design teams* Closely collaborate with Design Directors for personal career development, coaching, and mentorship* Play a key role in a range of interior design projects that include programming client needs, conceptual design, schematic design, design development, space planning and construction documentation.* Participate in the selection and presentation of furniture, furniture systems, fabrics, equipment (FF&E), finish palettes, and lighting.* Generate finish plans, specifications, and material selections needed for construction* Provide design support and documentation guidance during completion and execution of design concepts* Act as the key design interface with external consultants, product representatives, furniture dealers, and fabricators* Collaborate with team members and colleagues to promote an inter-disciplinary design approach and philosophy* Participate in business development and marketing efforts**Your Qualifications*** Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or related field from an accredited school* 10+ years of interior design experience* Strong leadership, communication, and relationship management skills* Proficient in Revit, Enscape, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and other modeling software programs* Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite applications (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)* Knowledge of furniture, finishes, materials, color selections, and specifications* Graphics and visualization skills to effectively communicate design ideas* LEED accreditation, preferred* NCIDQ accreditation, preferred* Strong corporate workplace experience and hospitality experience is desired**Life at Gensler**At Gensler, we are as committed to enjoying life as we are to delivering best-in-class design.
