Job Description The Power BI Support Lead is responsible for leading L2/L3 support teams, managing client requests, ensuring SLA compliance, and overseeing technical delivery for Power BI solutions. This role provides technical guidance, coordinates deployments, and ensures high‑quality support for performance, monitoring, and issue resolution. Responsibilities Lead and mentor L2/L3 support teams for Power BI technical delivery. Manage bug fixes, minor enhancements, and client support requests. Conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance to team members. Coordinate with application and platform teams for deployments and hyper‑care support. Ensure proactive monitoring and SLA compliance for availability and incident resolution. Support performance optimization, unit testing, and integration testing. Act as a client‑facing representative for technical discussions and escalations. Requirements Expertise in Power BI Service, Power BI Desktop, and Power BI Gateway configuration. Strong knowledge of data modeling, DAX, and report or dashboard development. Experience with on‑premises and cloud data connectivity such as SQL Server, Azure, or Excel. Familiarity with Power Automate and Power Apps integration. Understanding of SDLC, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile or Sprint methodologies. Team leadership and mentoring experience. SLA management and incident resolution skills. Strong communication and client engagement skills. Ability to coordinate across multiple technical and business teams. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Power BI Professional or Premium. Knowledge of gateways for hybrid environments.
