About the Role We are seeking a Senior Conference Event Sales Manager to lead partnerships and contract development for large-scale conferences and events across Canada and the United States. This role focuses on securing and managing partnerships that support staffing, hospitality, and operational services for major sporting events, festivals, conventions, and large public or private gatherings. This is not a traditional sales role . Success requires strong industry relationships, experience with procurement and contracts, and the ability to work across complex event environments involving venues, concessionaires, and event organizers. Responsibilities Lead and manage partnerships with venues, event organizers, and service providers Support procurement, tenders, and supplier qualification processes Negotiate multi-event and multi-city agreements Position the organization as a preferred or authorized partner for major events Coordinate with legal, finance, and operations teams to support contract execution Ensure compliance with insurance, licensing, labor, and safety requirements Support market expansion strategies by city, venue, and event type Skills and Qualifications Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills Solid understanding of event procurement and contracting cycles Experience deploying or supporting large temporary or seasonal workforces Ability to perform effectively in fast-paced, high-pressure event environments Knowledge of Canada–U.S. cross-border regulations is an asset Fluent in English and French; Spanish is an asset Compensations and Benefits Salary: $49,000 – $51,000 per year + Incentives Flexible schedule Company events Opportunity to work on high-profile national and international events Work Location In person Frequent travel to event host cities This role is ideal for an experienced event professional who enjoys building partnerships, negotiating contracts, and supporting the delivery of large-scale events. Le poste vise à sécuriser et gérer des partenariats soutenant les services de personnel, d’accueil et d’opérations pour des événements sportifs majeurs, des festivals, des congrès et des rassemblements publics ou privés. Il ne s’agit pas d’un poste de vente traditionnel . La réussite dans ce rôle repose sur des relations solides dans l’industrie, une bonne connaissance des processus d’approvisionnement et une capacité à évoluer dans des environnements événementiels complexes. Responsabilités Principales Diriger et gérer les partenariats avec les sites, les organisateurs d’événements et les fournisseurs de services Soutenir les processus d’approvisionnement, d’appels d’offres et de qualification des fournisseurs Négocier des ententes multi-événements et multi-villes Positionner l’organisation comme partenaire privilégié ou autorisé pour les grands événements Collaborer avec les équipes juridiques, financières et opérationnelles pour l’exécution des contrats Veiller au respect des exigences en matière d’assurances, de permis, de main-d’œuvre et de sécurité Appuyer les stratégies d’expansion par ville, site et type d’événement Expérience Requise Expérience à un poste senior ou de gestion dans les domaines de l’événementiel, des sites, de l’hôtellerie ou de la dotation Participation directe à des partenariats, négociations contractuelles ou processus d’approvisionnement Expérience avec des événements sportifs majeurs, de grands festivals, des congrès ou des programmes multivilles Bonne connaissance des processus d’approvisionnement publics et privés Expérience dans des environnements syndiqués et non syndiqués Compétences et Qualifications Solides compétences en négociation et en gestion des parties prenantes Bonne connaissance des cycles d’approvisionnement et de contractualisation événementiels Expérience dans le déploiement ou le soutien de main-d’œuvre temporaire ou saisonnière à grande échelle Capacité à évoluer efficacement dans des environnements rapides et à forte pression Connaissance de la réglementation transfrontalière Canada–États-Unis (atout) Maîtrise du français et de l’anglais; l’espagnol est un atout Rémunération et Avantages Salaire : 49 000 $ à 51 000 $ par année + primes incitatives Horaire flexible Événements d’entreprise Occasion de travailler sur des événements d’envergure nationale et internationale Lieu de Travail En présentiel Déplacements fréquents dans les villes hôtes Ce poste s’adresse à un(e) professionnel(le) expérimenté(e) de l’événementiel souhaitant jouer un rôle clé dans le développement de partenariats et la réussite de grands événements. #J-18808-Ljbffr
