We're looking for a Senior Civil / Structural Engineer-Project Manager for the Halifax, Nova Scotia area. We are also open to candidates located in Newfoundland and New Brunswick.


This role involves managing projects, teams, and building strong client relationships. Our company values flexibility, offering a hybrid working environment where employees can work both remotely and from the office.


About You

Experienced Professional: You hold a Professional Engineer (P.Eng) license and a degree in engineering (BS, BSc, or BEng) with at least 10 years of experience in civil or structural engineering. You’ve worked closely with clients and contractors during project planning and construction phases. You excel at problem-solving and have strong communication skills, both verbal and written, which are essential for managing projects and clients. Experience in dam safety and design related to dams or hydroelectric facilities is highly preferred.


Project Leadership: You have experience managing large, complex, multi-disciplinary projects. You've worked directly with senior leaders to devise practical solutions to complex engineering challenges, particularly in the fields of renewable energy, water management, and environmental projects.


Client-Focused: Your ability to cultivate and maintain strong, long-term client relationships is key to solving complex engineering challenges. You work effectively with cross-functional teams, applying your engineering expertise from analysis and design through to construction.


Key Qualifications

  • Must have permanent authorization to work in Canada, with the ability to gain work authorization in the United States.
  • Willingness to travel and a valid driver's license are required.
