KBRH prides itself on fostering a collaborative and supportive environment. Our dedicated medical staff and comprehensive hospitalist service provide exceptional perioperative and clinical support. The position offers a multitude of patient-focused activities, ensuring a diverse and engaging practice. You will have access to 4 OR days and 4 endoscopy days per month, catering to a wide range of surgical needs. Your foundational expertise in endoscopic procedures is crucial to our team. Besides your time at KBRH, your skills will be invaluable to Kootenay Lakes Hospital in Nelson, Castlegar and District Community Health Centre, Grand Forks’ Boundary District Hospital, Slocan Community Health Centre, and Arrow Lakes Hospital in Nakusp. You will be instrumental in delivering high-quality care across the region. Our close collaboration with the UBC Faculty of Medicine offers enriching opportunities to teach 3rd-year medical students. This integration allows you to seamlessly incorporate teaching into your schedule, providing a rewarding balance of professional development and significant contributions to clinical education.
