Investment Banking Analyst/Associate (Future Opportunities) We are always looking for talented individuals to join our team. Role Impact Our investment banking team of over 350 professionals across North America focuses on servicing corporate finance and financial advisory needs, including mergers & acquisitions, public offerings, private placements, and syndication. We also provide advisory services such as mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, fairness opinions, and valuations. Responsibilities Collaborate with Analysts, Associates, VPs, and senior bankers across Canada and the US. Conduct financial modeling and analysis, including DCF, comparable company, and precedent transaction analyses. Perform industry research and data analysis. Build and maintain financial models and industry databases. Assist in preparing transaction documents, pitch books, and company information for business development. We support internal growth and community involvement. Candidate Qualifications Proficiency in financial analysis and modeling. Understanding of finance principles and capital markets. Proficiency in Microsoft Office; willingness to learn new applications. Strong quantitative and analytical skills. Ability to meet deadlines in a high-volume environment with attention to detail. Excellent communication and relationship management skills, including face-to-face, email, video, and phone etiquette. Ability to work independently and in teams. Discretion in handling confidential information. Proficiency in French is an asset. Educational and Experience Requirements Undergraduate degree in a business-related discipline and/or CFA/CA/CPA/CBV designation. 1-3 years of experience in investment banking, corporate finance, or related fields.
