Review mortgage documentation to ensure completeness and accuracy based on Community Trust’s credit policies, procedures, and anti‑money laundering requirements. Update mortgage applications accurately; maintain application lending authority. Maintain knowledge of residence mortgage underwriting policies, procedures and products. Instruct files to FCT and collaborate with Residential Funding for timely closings. Communicate with internal contacts to meet service level standards and cultivate positive relationships. Accurately manage mortgage statuses and collaborate with Mortgage Advisory (Alt‑A). Partner with Credit Quality Assurance and Funding teams to meet targets. Learn company practices, structure and policies. Ensure accurate record keeping and retention to meet Company standards. Identify continuous improvement opportunities. Follow AML procedures on all files; proactively identify violations, conduct investigations, and implement corrective actions or escalations. Adhere to compliance and operational risk controls. Effectively manage tasks and cases to adhere to predetermined Service Level Agreements. Qualifications Minimum of 2 years residential origination experience, preferably alternative lending space. Fluency in French preferred. Post‑secondary education preferred. Working knowledge of Google Workspace applications. Additional Kudos Demonstrated ability to provide alternate solutions based on product and guideline availability. Capable of handling multiple tasks and meeting stringent deadlines. Tactful, diplomatic, and politely persistent. Results oriented and self‑motivated. Strong negotiation, sales, and analytical skills. Excellent written and verbal business communication skills.
